高学历并不代表着高成功率，学历代表过去，能力代表将来。日本西屋集团主席堤义明认为，学历只是一个人受教育时间的证明，不等于一个人有多少实际的才干。日本索尼公司董事长盛田昭夫在总结自己的成功时，曾写过一本书，叫《让学历见鬼去吧》。盛田昭夫提出要把索尼公司的人事档案全部烧毁，以便公司里杜绝学历上的任何歧视，阻碍公司的发展。他在索尼公司大力提倡不弄学历高低，只比能力大小的做法。
